Environment and Back Ups
Happy HR runs on AWS technology which is backed by their 99.99999% uptime service level agreement. You will always be able to access your data when you need to access it. They take data security very seriously as it’s YOUR data. Happy HR is hosted on a highly secure cloud server at AWS in the SYD AU region only. They do not hold data outside Australia. Incremental file storage level backups for the previous 20 days will be maintained at all times. AWS has highly secure facilities and host’s information from some of the biggest companies in the world.

Your Data
Your data is stored on Happy HR’s protected AWS data servers instead of your own computers. This way if you happen to lose your computer your HR data is secure.
Their clients own their own personal data and information, and they will not ever sell to any third parties.
Happy HR cannot access your data etc. unless you give them access to it. Personal information is salt encrypted for extra security and protected while at rest. NIST Cryptographic Mechanisms are used for data repositories holding sensitive personal information are some of the practices they use to protect client data.

Audits
Happy HR regularly undertakes stringent audits via 3rd party professional audit organisations. Leveraging on their 3rd party professional partner’s ISO27001 and CREST certification, they aim to deliver a secure and safe cyber experience to their customers.
Include Cyber Security Shared Responsibility – secure account protection practices, phishing threats etc.

Layers
Happy HR uses firewalls, WAF etc. to restrict access and protect your data from unauthorised access. Their servers are only available to senior Happy HR developers and engineers, and we log and audit all access. Happy HR is L1 PCI DSS compliant. The pages of Happy HR have SSL encryption for full page security.

Payment Gateaway
For your credit card information, they use EWAY as it is a terrific and secure product, the Happy HR system does not store any credit card information.

Their Staff
Happy HR staff are trained in accordance with the Privacy Act and will always act in line with this act. All Happy HR staff are police checked for added security.
