Who We Are

The Save Group was founded by Jane Save, a global HR practitioner with over 15 years experience.

Using pragmatic and operationally focused frameworks, The Strategic Action Model (SAM) and The National HR Framework, we help businesses understand the link between strategy and action, in order to drive performance and profit

What does it mean for business?

The Strategic Action Model™ is a key model created from decades of research into what separates high performing businesses from low performing businesses.

Based on research from 5,000 small to medium Australasian businesses, it showed that there was a strong link between the strategy of the business, the activity or action of the employee workforce and the overall performance of the business.

We help you measure where your business is today and how we can take it to the next level, in order to drive performance and profit.

The National HR Framework

What does it mean for business?

The National Human Resource Framework (NS HRF 101: 2010) is a standard developed through research conducted by the HR Coach Research Institute and various industry bodies to establish a balanced method of human resources to minimise risk and maximise sustainability.

The Framework is the overarching method of how The Save Group works with businesses and provides a structured approach which directly links to business outcomes.

We use the framework to help businesses devise an Annual HR Plan, in line with their budget constraints and their business needs.

Jane Save

People & Culture Director

Jane Save is the Director of The Save Group and has over 14 years experience working to improve the performance and profitability of businesses through their people.  

Jane’s firsthand experience as a Restaurant Owner has given her the understanding of the real pain of running a small business. Jane now works with SME’s to achieve their potential in a range of industries including manufacturing, mining, retail, digital, professional services and hospitality, or any other industry sector that employs people. In 2015, Jane was nationally recognised as the Australian Young Manager of the Year by the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).

Jane has complemented her extensive business and management experience with relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, HR and Psychology.  She uses extensive research conducted on SME businesses in Australia to help benchmark and drive businesses to improve their performance.  Jane focusses on minimising business risks, maximising business sustainability and growth, and removing potential barriers or roadblocks to increase business profitability.

Bianca Toce

People & Culture Consultant

Bianca completed her Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management in 2020. Soon after, she started her career as a HR Administrator for a global manufacturing company, where she was responsible for all HR Admin for 5x Asia Pacific and South Africa sites. Here, she developed her foundational HR knowledge which would hold her in good stead for future roles.

Bianca started at The Save Group in October 2021 as a HR & Marketing Administrator, after having completed a post-graduate Certificate in Marketing during the Covid-19 lockdown. She was soon promoted to HR and Marketing Coordinator and looking after her own client base end to end.

Bianca’s love for helping others and opportunity to build meaningful and genuine connections is what ignited her passion for HR. Having worked for a small family business for ~7 years, she is extremely committed to helping other small to medium business’ succeed and watching them embark on this journey. Her clients are always at the forefront of mind, whilst also ensuring a positive workplace for employees. If your people are thriving, so is your business.

Although Bianca is well versed in all areas of HR, her area of expertise is assisting clients in finding the right person for the right seat and facilitating Culture and Alignment Survey workshops, to create better working teams and ensure retention of high performing staff. Bianca endeavours to partner with her clients to ease their burden and stress of people pain points, whilst also assisting to create a more unified team working towards the same goal.
